This 60-minute complimentary online session will be guided by Rachel Donen, MSc. Kin, CEP, Persistent Pain Specialist.

This session will include guided practices and teaching to participate in.

Rachel has dedicated her life to helping people heal from persistent pain and the suffering associated with pain. She retrains the body to move with ease and confidence while helping each patient to dissolve the fear, guilt or shame that comes with persistent pain. The combination of body-mind training that Rachel coaches allows the feeling of freedom and joy to return in the patient.

With over two decades of study and experience in persistent pain, mindfulness, and yoga; Rachel draws from a Master's training in Kinesiology, 3-year Yoga teacher training, the Neuroscience of Pain research, and 5 years of study with Buddhist Nun Ani Jamyang Donma and Awareness teacher Christopher Aslan. She is the author of the book series: "Back Pain Again?: 4-Week Program for Pain that Won't Go Away".

Maggie Bergeron
BsC, MsC(PT), Registered Physiotherapist

Maggie is the owner of The Yellow Room and is a registered physiotherapist, myofascial release practitioner and specializes in helping people with persistent pain live their fullest life. She graduated with a Masters of Science in Physiotherapy from McMaster University in 2009 and a Bachelors of Science (Honours Kinesiology) from the University of Ottawa in 2007.

Since graduating, Maggie has taken extensive continuing education courses and continues to learn and integrate new forms of treatment that benefit her patients. Her treatment philosophy is centered around each patients’ goals, previous history, and current understanding of their condition. Through education, mindful movement training, and myofascial release, Maggie helps her patients return to the activities that they love. Between session digital support is provided by a web and mobile app (Embodia) where her patients receive personalized video exercises and education to support what was discussed in session.
